So, when I went to get Frankey out of hibernation today, I noticed that he did not survive the hibernation. I let my sons know and they were very sad. Frankey has been a wonderful pet for us. We found him roaming our back yard four years ago. We took him in as part of our family and loved him and cared for him. We do not know how old he was when we found him, but the last four years have been good for us to care for him. Some of you have had the opportunity to come and see him, and the home we built for him. Please give a special prayer for our sons to recover from their loss. We had some sad hearts tonight when we laid him to rest in the trees behind our house.
The results of Alma’s homework survey are as follows:
Hot Dog – 7
Hamburger – 7
Pizza – 18
Thanks to all who helped out.

There appears to be another storm coming this way that could dump an excess of 12″ providing certain conditions converge at the right time. All I have to say is “Why?”
So it appears that the flakes have stopped falling. (Er, rather a few hours ago as I am writing this after the boys have gone to bed.) The final measurement was 25″. It is a bit hard to tell how accurate it is since there are so many drifts from the wind. Last night the news said that it could gust up to 50 mph. There was a nice tall pile of snow on our neighbor’s fence that measured 22″. We wanted to make a snowman, (Mom requested pictures), but it really didn’t pack well. Tomorrow should be a bit warmer, so maybe it will then. We did get some pictures from us playing in the snow, and they will have to wait as I haven’t transferred them yet.
Last night there was about 8″ when we went to bed and now there is 20″ and still coming down strong.

After driving by a “Deer Crossing” sign, Patrick said “Watch out for deer Mommy, (pause) because they fall from the sky, (pause) from above the clouds from Santa Claus.” After which Reighlyn said, “I think they meant the ones that live in the forest from around here.” Patrick then responded, “They don’t live in the forest Mommy, they live in the sky above the clouds.” Reighlyn then asked, “What do they do in the sky?” He said, “They come down and watch TV in the restaurant.” Reighlyn asked, “Which restaurant?” He replied, “The PJ’s restaurant.” Meaning of course the little restaurant just inside the BJ’s Wholesale Club. You can see all the big screen TVs from the seating.

I noticed that the comments links here on my blog wasn’t working. I was able to reload the blog and restore the posts. I only forgot to save the links and other settings. I was able to go through them and set them to what I wanted. I don’t know why they weren’t working, Reighlyn’s were working fine. If you still seem to have problems, let me know.
So I took the Security+ Certification exam on Friday. It wasn’t as difficult as I thought it might be. I studied a few hours a day for a week and didn’t find any surprises on the exam. Sometimes I wonder if they are over-rated. For someone like me who doesn’t deal much with that sort of thing on a regular basis, you’d think it would be slightly challenging. But then again, maybe I just have a gift for doing well on tests. Throughout school, I was usually able to pass tests without much studying. I think that I am lucky that way. Maybe I should consider more resume building certifications…

I’m excited. Maybe if it catches on Microsoft will consider supporting HTML 5 in Internet Explorer?
It is a long video, but it is worth it, so grab some popcorn, dim the lights and enjoy!
